This mango smoothie recipe makes a superb breakfast and gives enough energy to last a whole morning. It's raw and vegan. Sugar an dairy free.
dash of lemon juice
1 tablespoon hemp seed
1/4 teaspoon green powder
ice cubes (optional)
Peel and pit the mango, cut into pieces. Peel and cut the banana and orange.
Put all ingredients in the blender (orange first).
Blend all ingredients well.
You may want to add a little water if it's too thick.
The hemp seeds provide good fats, super protein and fibers.
This smoothie is also delicious with some coconut meat or water (instead of the hemp and orange).
I often keep frozen mango and/or banana in the fridge. This way I always have the ingredients with me for making this recipe.
