These peach smoothie recipes are a little different from most of my other smoothies because they are made with coconut meat and water. It tastes like a "milk shake" or drink yoghurt. It is satiating and creamy. Great if you used to like smoothies with dairy, but don't like to eat that anymore. The electrolytes of the coconut water are very hydrating and alkalizing. Thus great as a summer drink or after sport activities.
You can buy young coconuts in some health stores, large hight quality super markets (like Whole Foods in the US) or in Asian stores or neighborhoods. You may also get them on-line. I buy them at a large Asian whole sale market for 1.5 USD each. Some people told me they make this smoothie with (dried) shredded coconut and then strain it, or with coconut milk from a pack (but then it's is no longer raw and as delicious, but it will be vegan).
If you like this smoothie, also try to make it with other fruits and replace the peach with pear, strawberries, mango or apricots for delicious variations.
